Dom Development SA started developing homes in Warsaw in 1996 – not long after the collapse of the COMECON trading bloc and eight years before Poland joined the EU. By the end of 2009 it had created more than 14,000 flats, luxury apartments and single-family houses and become the country’s leading residential developer.After only 10 years Dom became a public company by listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in October 2006.
Woodsford Consulting helped create the company and has advised it throughout it spectacular growth. Dom is looking to reinforce its lead in the Polish market and emerged from the 2008/9 financial crisis with overheads strictly controlled, a plentiful cash position and a solid land bank. |
